Meet the Talent

Esther Choi is a Korean American chef and restaurateur known for blending traditional Korean flavors with modern techniques. She is the chef and owner of Mokbar and the chef and partner of Ms. Yoo, with additional ventures including her latest concept, Öbar. A graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education, she has worked at notable New York City restaurants and with the Food Network.

Esther has appeared on Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend, Beat Bobby Flay, and Bobby's Triple Threat, and currently hosts Heat Eaters. She is also a frequent guest judge on shows like Chopped and Throwdown with Michael Symon, and co-hosts 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing. Through her restaurants, television presence, and media work, she continues to spotlight Korean cuisine in a modern, accessible way.
