Meet the Talent
Chef Treviño has had the privilege of cooking at the prestigious James Beard House in New York and at Lincoln Center for their annual awards event. He frequently participates as a guest chef at food events throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean, including the Aspen Food & Wine Classic, the Telluride Culinary Festival, and the St. Croix Food and Wine Festival. Additionally, he has served as a guest chef on several occasions with Celebrity Cruises.
He has made numerous television appearances in both Puerto Rico and the U.S., including a memorable battle against renowned chef Mario Batali on "Iron Chef America" and as a contestant on "The Next Iron Chef" Season 2. He has also appeared with Rachael Ray on her show, "$40 a Day," and currently serves as a judge on "Beat Bobby Flay." Chef Treviño hosted an entire season of "Kandela," a cooking talk show.
In addition to his culinary accomplishments, Chef Treviño launched CookShop, a production company specializing in television production and live events. To date, CookShop has produced "4 Minutos con Chef Treviño," presented the Food & Fashion Festival, and hosted "El Ñosh," a Jewish-Latin pop-up at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival as well as the New York Wine & Food Festival. He also organized "Chef Treviño's Sea & Salsa" at the legendary Bitter End Yacht Club in the British Virgin Islands.
Currently, Chef Treviño is the CEO of RLT Chef Consultants LLC and is in the process of opening several of his beloved restaurants in San Juan. He is most fulfilled when cooking up new ideas to expand his culinary vision and is looking to open one of his restaurant concepts near you.
