Michelin-trained and James Beard Award-winning Master Chef Jason Neroni brings more than 30 years of culinary mastery to DANTE, a contemporary Italian rooftop restaurant in the heart of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Chef Neroni's career spans some of the world's most influential and acclaimed kitchens, including El Bulli; 10 Downing Restaurant; The Rose Venice; Eleven Madison Park; Alain Ducasse New York, Paris, and Monaco; Spago Beverly Hills; and Chez Panisse.

In 2013, Chef Neroni was honored with the James Beard Award for Outstanding Cookbook for his book, "Notes from a Kitchen." He is a recipient of 12 stars from The New York Times, and has opened award-winning concepts from Mexico City to California, receiving "Best Restaurant" and "Best Chef" honors for his work reinvigorating Rose Café in Venice Beach; as well as the Forbes "Best New Restaurant" award for Best Bet Pizzeria in Culver City. He has also received "Businessman of the Year" accolades by the Los Angeles City Council, and was named "Best New Chef" by New York Magazine.

Born in Los Angeles with deep Puerto Rican heritage, Chef Neroni bridges continents and cultures, blending classic technique with an instinctive, authentic approach to food. At DANTE, his cooking reflects the principles of Cucina Poetica – the belief that food should move people as much as it satisfies them.
